MINUTES
A motion by Harris to approve the April 27, 2011 Board of Directors Meeting minutes was seconded by Whitehead and carried unanimously.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Architectural Review – Chair Aaron Harris (Mtg Date – Third Monday at 7:00 p.m.)
No report.

Shared Facilities- Chair, Erika Jones (Mtg Date – Third Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.)
The community luau is scheduled from June 18th from 11 – 1 p.m. Movie night is scheduled for July 16th (Jaws).

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Status of Operations – April 30, 2011
As of April 30, 2011, the Association had an un-audited surplus of $8,626. There are two (2) CD’s maturing in the month of June and Management will investigate investment recommendations.

CONTRACT SERVICES
Grounds Maintenance
Mowing continues on a seven to ten day schedule weather permitting. Improvement discussion tabled until the June meeting.

Pool Furniture
The new pool furniture was delivered and the Association sold the old furniture for $2,250.00.

General Maintenance
-
A motion by Harris to replace the pony coil spring at the tot lot in the amount of $1,654.00 was seconded by Whitehead and carried unanimously.

Fairfax Excavation is in the process of completing the concrete repairs in the community.

MDB Painting completed the column repairs on the pool deck and front of the clubhouse. The new doors will be delivered the first week of June.

Management is to provide proposals at the June meeting for the fence replacement on Baggett and Thompson.

Maintenance Inspection
The maintenance inspection is ongoing by Community Inspection Services.

RESIDENT & MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS
Correspondence
A motion by Whitehead to approve John Kilmartin’s proposal to provide swim lessons was seconded by Payne and carried unanimously. Mr. Kilmartin is to provide appropriate insurance information.
