From the Editor

As the new Editor of the Dominion Station Express, I would like to take the time to introduce myself.

My name is Holden Blackmer and I am currently a Junior at Potomac Falls High School. This is my second issue as Editor, and third as staff writer. I took over as Editor when Penelope Roberts, former Editor, moved.

During my time as Editor, I hope to make changes to this newsletter to make it more enjoyable to all. I welcome any and all suggestions you may have. Currently, the newsletter is in need of an Advertising Editor and a Board Reporter, along with staff writers. If you would like to fill one of these positions, please email me at: newsletter@164.17.

From the Chairman

Can you believe it is summer already? The grills are up and cooking. The pool is open. Kids are home from school. Yard work is being completed and vacations are being taken. I have just a few notes to pass along. With the kids out of school, please take extra care in driving and be ready for the unexpected when you see them playing outside.

It is not too soon to mention that school will be starting in September, which means bus stops and kids running to catch the bus at the last moment so be extra careful around the buses.

Remember to circle the fourth Tuesday of the month for the Board of Directors meeting. It is time well worth spending and after all, this is our community, and the more involvement, the better.
