Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Newsletter

In an effort to keep citizens better informed about crime, the Sheriff's Office has implemented a monthly Neighborhood Watch Newsletter. This newsletter includes safety and security tips relevant for the month and the time of year. It also includes information on recent crimes and crime trends in the county. The newsletter will also detail educational crime prevention training events that are open to the public. A copy of the most recent issue of the newsletter is online at the Office of the Sheriff Adult Crime Prevention Unit web site

Pool Closure

Due to the impending weather, the pool will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

US Aquatics will be preparing the pool on Friday evening, by stacking furniture, and locking down the facilities.


Loudoun County Sheriffs Office Quarterly Meeting

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office will hold a public safety meeting for Eastern Loudoun County on Wednesday, August 17, 2011

The quarterly public safety meeting is part of the agency’s effort to better utilize resources, while at the same time providing a higher level of service to county residents. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station located at 46620 East Frederick Drive in Sterling (adjacent to Rolling Ridge Elementary School).

The Loudoun Sheriff’s Office hosts quarterly public safety meetings in each of the four service areas of the county.  All residents, homeowners associations, community groups, and town representatives are invited to attend.

Items to be discussed are recent crime and crime trends in your area, traffic safety concerns and other public safety related issues.  The meetings will be led by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Captain who represents your service area.  Also in attendance will be supervisors from the Criminal Investigations Division, the Special Operations Division, Community Police Officers, and Crime Prevention Deputies.

The 2011 Community wide Cookout was successful. We managed to avoid the inclement weather, and the food was excellent.
